Teach Me To Do

I am such a bad dancer.If a song such as Boom Boom Pow comes on, its upbeat obviously, so how do I dance to that? I’m so clueless! Any sites that show me basic dance moves so I don’t look like a effin retard on the dance floor? perhaps if they have instructional videos even?

I was watching ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ the other day and the dancers who threw themselves around the stage with such emotion inspired me to teach myself lyrical dancing. Does anyone have any tips on how I may come around to doing that? Song ideas? Moves? Warm-ups?

my mother and i saw this dance video within the last year its an instructional video about india style dancing and my mom was laughing so hard when i was doing it. we cant remember what it is called or where we seen it my mom thinks it was on a talk show like today show or something i have no idea…all i remember it saying was “one, two ,three.. move your head.. move your head” its driving us nuts we cant find it anywhere

It seems there is the gurukula system of learning classical Indian dance (Bharatanatyam in particular) and the other systems. Which is workable? What about learning indian dances online? Or with instructional videos? How productive is it?
